Wednesday Supper uses local, seasonal ingredients. Not only are they more delicious, but they reduce the food industry's carbon footprint. We generally use organic products, but also recognize that it can be prohibitively expensive for small farmers to attain an organic certification. Be rest assured that we work with producers that use best practices, that none of our produce is genetically modified or grown using pesticides, and that all of our meat is from, free-range/pasture-raised, antibiotic-free animals.
Wednesday Supper delivers within San Francisco. If you live outside San Francisco, please contact us if you'd like to pick an order up from our San Francisco facility in the Mission District on Thursdays or Fridays.
For the most part, our stews and soups come in one-quart (32 oz.) containers which generally provide two main course servings for adults with healthy appetites, or three to four servings as an accompaniment. For our stuffed pasta in brodo dishes, we provide 24 oz of brodo and 12 oz of pasta. For dishes such as curry and rice, we offer 24 oz of curry and 12 oz of rice.
Orders must be placed by Monday at 5 p.m. for Wednesday delivery. Please note that our stews and soups are made in small batches and limited quantities and as such, your choice might be sold out.
If you'd like to change or cancel an order, just email us. We are happy to increase your order, pending availability, and if you need to cancel, that's no problem either. We just ask that you do this as soon as possible, as quantities for our small-batch soups are limited and often sell-out.
